Dr Imran Sharif is a Specialist Periodontist at Creacent Dental Practice. His professional exposure to a number of different areas within dentistry has provided him the necessary skills in the following areas:
- Periodontal (gum disease) treatment
- Dental Implant
- Oral Surgery
- Conscious Sedation
Imran qualified from Guy’s King’s & St. Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2003. Over a three year period he undertook Senior House Officer positions in Restorative dentistry, Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial surgery. During this time he successfully gained his Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of England (MFDS RCS Eng).
In 2008 he embarked on a four year specialist training programme. This included extensive training and experience within the field of dental implantology. As part of his specialist training, he completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Periodontics at Kings College, London whilst also attaining the Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
He is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology and has previously taught undergraduates at the Oral Surgery Department at Kings College University and regularly lectures on Periodontology to other dentists.
